“The best effort of a fine person is felt after we have left their presence.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
If I were to interview everyone you interacted with yesterday, would they all say the you left them uplifted or downcast or would it be a mix of both? If it is all one or the other, then I applaud you for your consistency. If it is a mixture of the two, then you have some work to do to repair the split in your focus and to consolidate your dual or several personalities.
If you aspire to be a fine person, of course, you would be concerned to give all that you encounter the best possible opportunity to rise up. Whether or not the invitation is accepted by those you encounter is really beside the point; consistently bringing the same challenge to your world is the point.
