Self-righteousness — the state of being which is produced and sustained by placing opinions about facts above the acknowledgment of truth — lies at the root of most human misery.

One Response to Self-Righteousness

  1. Joshua says:

It takes a certain degree of honesty to really look at this Truth.
And agreed, lies are the root of most human suffering, lies about who we are, where we are from, and where we are going. Not to mention the lies about why we do the things we do. In a world replete with abundance, why do we so often choose to see, hear and feel the lies, which adds to their false momentum. The truth of the matter is far simpler, and actually lightens our load, and yet its acknowledgement takes deliberate action, especially when we are out of the habit of moving from truth to truth.
Thank-you Gregg, for the reminder, time for some up-rooting!
