Gregg Hake’s Story

Hi! My name is Gregg Hake. I was born in Heidelberg, Germany and lived my early years as an Army brat. My family then moved to Belgium and finally to the States in time for kindergarten. Perhaps encouraged by my early travels, I pursued Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and French from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Business Administration in International Business from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA.

My career from day one has been focused on finding ways to leverage my ability to help others live happier, healthier lives. One of the best avenues I’ve discovered is through health care. Everybody needs it. Most could could make better choices were they more adequately educated on the alternatives. Your health is not something that you should turn over to the experts. They are guides, but at the end of the day you have to live in your body. Never abdicate your responsibility for your personal health!

My work over the past two decades has focused on the spa and wellness industries. I’m now CEO of a few small businesses that didn’t “go green” but started that way. You’re welcome to take a look at our sites. Our portfolio of companies have grown steadily through the recent recessionary environment, and we’re constantly adding new team members in various capacities. I am committed to building a team of fine people who love what they do and who care about the people they serve.

My companies include:

  1. Energetix Corporation (www.goenergetix.com). Energetix is a natural remedy company that sells to doctors only.
  2. Anakiri, LLC (www.anakiri.com). Anakiri is a natural skin care line that serves spas around the country.
  3. The Body Sanctuary, Inc. (www.bodysanctuaryinc.com). The Body Sanctuary offers one-on-one personal training in a stately and historic setting.
  4. The Spa on Green Street (www.spaongreenstreet.com). The Spa on Green Street is a wellness day spa

This blog is a collection of my daily meditations on life and living. My hope is that your life might be enriched by my daily messages and that your ability to bless the lives of those you touch will increase over time as you give thought to the basic laws and principles that I have found to make a huge difference in my personal and professional life.

I welcome your comments, observations and experiences and thank you for stopping by!

Dear Gregg, I was just doing some research and was trying to find some contact information when I stumbled upon your blogs. I can’t stop reading them! The fact that you can keep coming up with these literary masterpieces on a daily and weekly basis is nothing short of genius! Now I really want to score an appointment with you and your company!
Our company, Blue Springs Energy creates websites and outreach programs for local govt’s across NYS. We provide all of the content which is includes all of the rebates and tax incentives for clean air initiatives as well as information regarding alternative energy resources, certified contractors, energy saving tips, etc.

Thanks very much for the blogs! There’s my reading for tonight!

You’re welcome, Polly. Your sight looks quite interesting. Are you planning on extending into other states/counties as time goes on?

You were born in Heidelberg? I was born in Berlin! You study Chinese Medicine? I study integrative medicine (as a hobby)! And you worked in a spa? I worked in a salon! And although I only took intro-flight-lessons, looks like we both have a passion for the skies. I came across your BLOG and immediately took to it; very insightful! Best to you and Melissa!

Hey Gregg!

I found your blog on the wordpress front page and your most recent post, “Dress for Success,” caught my eye because it had a picture of Audrey Hepburn. I loved your ideas about dress in the work place and about how it creates our image. It inspired me to write something on my blog as well! (I maintain a fashion blog.) I poked around through the rest of your blog and I adore it! Your writings are heartfelt, yet interesting and thought-provoking! Keep up the good work! I know how frustrating it is to keep regularly posting!

I used to teach school and somewhere in the nine years that I worked the dress code seemed to go out the window from when I first started.

It became increasingly difficult to tell the students from the teachers except for the gray hair to which some teachers responded with some very interesting hair colors to cover up the gray.

Enjoyed reading your blog this morning. And yes, you do go very well with coffee!
